UPDATE!!

CGA is done. I’m a CGA alumni now. Who would have thought aha.

I have been blown away by the ways that you all have blessed me with prayer and financial support. To update you on funding, I got fully funded for CGA about 3 weeks before it had all ended. That was a huge blessing not to have to worry about that as I transitioned into this next season. Thank you all again.

The last month of CGA was one of the best. So many memories were made with very sweet people that I really love. The last couple weeks consisted of final teachings, which were 45 minute time slots where each of us had the opportunity to teach our class in something that the Lord had been teaching us about over the last few months. Cassi and I put our time together and taught on grief and transition and the importance of rhythms and keeping values throughout. What a cool thing to be able to teach on and learn about especially as transitions are going to be a constant throughout my life, as they are for all of us as we continue to follow the Lord. We also got to lead ourselves in what’s called a capstone trip, which is like the final project. During that week we did ministry in Gainesville and surrounding areas and spent some time empowering each other in ways that we have seen one another grow and step into over the past few months. It was a pivotal time for our class in just continuing to learn what it looks like to pour into and care for one another as we walked through the ending of a life changing season.

On June 3rd we came together and graduated. (pictured below)

Where am I now?

I moved to the Wisconsin Dells!! What a turn of events!! About a month before I finished CGA I had just been praying about what was next and what the Lord had in store for this next season and He began to speak into this summer and into the fall. One of my very close friends from the World Race, Lexi Ballard, texted me one day and just asked what I was doing this summer and jokingly said you should move to the Wisconsin Dells to work with me at Bella Goose. The Lord continued to bring it up. I started to move in that direction and the ways that the Lord provided for it all was absolutely incredible.

Bella Goose Coffee Co. you ask, What is that??

When I was in Thailand after I went back after my surgery I had the privilege of partnering with Bella Goose Coffee. I was able to hear the background of how they came to be and the impact that their company was making. While I was there for the two weeks before the pandemic started I got to hear stories and just get a taste of the incredible ministry that they do. I am currently living in the Dells with Kate from my CGA class and working coffee in the Wisconsin Dells.

WHAT’S NEXT?!

I mentioned this a little earlier, but throughout CGA the Lord started to speak into the Fall and potential plans. A lot of prayer and conversations has gone into a bit of the change of plans from originally going to school in the fall. I am so excited to tell you all and keep you updated. I have decided to TEAM LEAD FOR A GAP SQUAD with Adventures in Missions. I will be leading for about 3 months. I will go back to Gainesville at the end of August and be there with the squad for about 6 weeks just training and discipling. Then in November we will move to Guatemala. There I will be with them for about a month and then I will come home at the beginning of December !!

It has been so so encouraging to see the growth and healing that the Lord has done in my life over the past year! I have experienced so much freedom, it’s wild. This season of leading I believe will just come with so much more redemption and growth in the ways that the Lord has already started. I am excited to be challenged and pushed into a greater dependance. I can’t wait to pour into my team and lead them with the testimony of what the Lord has already done!! cause He’ll DO IT AGAIN!!!!

I will be fundraising again for this next season to be able to lead for this squad. I would love prayer over these next few months as I prepare for what the Lord has for me in this season of leading. I can’t wait to keep you all updated and am hoping to start a newsletter to keep you updated throughout the next 6 months.

If you would like to be put on that, let me know and comment your email below.

More testimony and updates to come!!

Cheers,

Anna
